Australian Wine Review – This review we did a little differently, taking the camera with us into some of the wineries we visited and then gave a review of each one afterwards. The wineries we reviewed are….
Gundagai Winery http://www.gundagaiwines.com.au/
Borambola Winery http://www.borambola.com/
Wagga Wagga Winery http://www.waggawaggawinery.com.au/
Charles Sturt University Winery http://www.csu.edu.au/winery/
Recommended buys: Gundagai winery Shiraz 2007 $20
Borambola “Hiraji’s Spell” Shiraz 2006 $20
Honourable mentions: Gundagai Winery Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 $20
Borambola “Bunya Bunya” Chardonnay 2007 $18
Wagga Wagga Winery Touriga 2004 $20
Charles Sturt University Shiraz 2007 $14.30
Uninspiring: Wagga Wagga Winery overall.
Paterson Winery – omitted due to being too uninspiring to edit, however the lady at the cellar door is a fountain of information about local water issues. Very interesting listening.
Eunonyhareenyha Winery – not open when advertised and what’s with having an unpronounceable name?
We really likes these reviews from the Wagga Wagga area. Good to see the tasings in person. You are doing well with your variety of presentations. Colleen loves them. Just wait till you get to the Mornington Peninsular with GREAT WEATHER and sooooooo many wineries!! xox Hi Inigo.
Hey guys,
Loved being taken to the wineries for a change! Makes me wish I was there with you! Although it looks a lot colder than Hervey Bay!
