It was a bit of a whiz-through tour of Rutherglen and we wish we could have stayed a little longer. Rutherglen is the home of Australian Durif and fortifieds. This is a “big wine” region. We picked up a couple of Durifs that can punch a whole in the side of your head, but have not had a chance to get that on camera yet.
