In this episode we follow the road from Melbourne to the award winning South Australian wine region of McLaren Vale. It wouldn’t be right to just belt straight through, so we took a couple of detours along the way to see some of the beautiful sites of NW Victoria and also took some time out to review the Redbank “Emily” sparkling from the King Valley region. Check out some of the places we spied on the journey and some of the beaches we spied when we finished!
yes we missed it and we rue the decision. We looked at schedules and decided to barrel through to McLaren Vale and then spent lot’s of time working out when and how we could get back to Coonawarra. In hindsight, a bad decision. We will catch it next time around, we promise.
I Know it’s probably a bit late now but I think you may have bypassed the Coonawarra, just one of those insignificant wine areas in south australia
