Hi Guys,

I’ve been looking forward to the new episode for a while – between watching the World Cup, Tour de France, AFL etc – and then there it was! Very happy to see you again. I’m glad to hear all three of you survived Troopy’s narcolepsy but it’s sad they had to put troopt down, RIP indeed.

Hope to see some more from you soon. Keep on trooping!

My take on 1838 shiraz and durif is that they are about the best reds in Mudgee

Great solution guys!!! It’s a shame you weren’t able to top the barrel with CO2 so it doesn’t oxidize but hey, when you’re in the desert…

My 2 cents: being in the desert, where are you going to get your sturgeon belly finings? Emu egg may uplift the flavour and make up for your choice of barrel.

Make sure you keep the recipe, I want to know if your experiment works out!
